Account Executive - SaaS

Job Description

  • Pursue all qualified prospects via cold calling
  • Make heavy outbound phone calls
  • Schedule and perform web demonstrations
  • Captivate new leads with a presentation of our product that is both engaging and professional
  • Establish rapport and schedule appointments with potential customers, while making detailed notes in our CRM
  • Maintain knowledge of the market and current technology
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to effectively articulate benefits & company services to prospects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • SaaS sales experience
  • Preferred relevant sales experience: Software, procurement, Logistics, import/export
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of how practice needs can be better supported through technology
  • Ambition with a general aptitude for sales and customer service
  • Ability to multitask with a strong work ethic and business acumen
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude

Desired Skills

  • Solution selling experience in large-scale evaluations that involve multiple departmental stakeholder interests: Marketing, Sales, E-Commerce, Operations, IT and Security
  • Experience positioning an application that requires a customer’s change in process
  • HTML, Excel, JavaScript, SQL, and SaaS/Cloud hosting architecture
  • Server-side frameworks like Ruby on Rails
  • Web Services XML, API routines, protocols and tools
  • Applicable security and privacy standards for SaaS/Cloud technology
  • Experience with PIM, DAM and/or ERP solutions is preferred

Backend Engineer

Job Description

  • Write high quality, clean and efficient code
  • Provide timely support to both internal and external users of the system
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with the engineering team
  • Contribute ideas to our technology and algorithms
  • Ensure that design is architecturally sound and follows engineering best practices with regards to scalability, maintainability, and reuse

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/ Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
  • Production experience in Software Development
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g MongoDB)
  • Expertise with Object Oriented Design and Programming
  • Experience coding NodeJS
  • Experience developing cloud-based services
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

DevOps Engineer

Job Description

  • Building and implementing automation tools
  • Identifying and removing performance bottlenecks throughout the platform
  • Utilizing Terraform or other infrastructure as code
  • Using Puppet or other configuration management tools
  • Administration of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Riak, Cassandra) - including High Availability and Disaster Recovery plans
  • Identifying and removing databases performance bottlenecks throughout the platform
  • Improving platform security implementations
  • Building and implementing analytics dashboards
  • Work with Kubernetes clusters in AWS cloud

Qualifications

  • Mandatory experience with NoSQL databases like ElasticSearch, Cassandra or Riak
  • At least 2 years working with cloud providers. AWS services including but not limited to: EC2, S3, Cloudfront, EBS, SQS are preferred
  • Experience working with containerization solutions
  • Familiar with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Familiar with Kubernetes deployment tools like Helm
  • Experience in operation and automation of a CI/CD pipeline
  • Communication skills especially with diverse groups of global team members including other software engineers, as well as managers and executives.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or Math, or equivalent work experience

Senior Application Security Engineer

Job Description

  • Develop and support Plan Intelligently product security features
  • Review product code for adherence to standards and security practices
  • Build and automate security tools for DevSecOps
  • Conduct application security testing
  • Secure both private and public cloud services running our Plan Intelligently platform
  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers in securing our platform
  • Assist in developing security policy and governance framework
  • Help Plan Intelligently in achieving various industry certifications and meeting compliance requirements
  • Proactively partner with product delivery teams to ensure we are leveraging best practices in application security engineering
  • Participate in client discussions and be a security advisor to clients and internal teams at Plan Intelligently
  • Lead security software engineering best practices (secure development lifecycle, secure coding guidelines, code reviews, audits, and DevSecOps, etc.).

Experience

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technology experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated application security experience
  • Experience with static application security testing, dynamic application security testing, and penetration testing
  • Demonstrated software development proficiency (Python, Go, Java) and OWASP
  • Proficient in SaaS and cloud-based development practices and familiar with development for AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • Strong personal work ethic and integrity
  • Experience in diverse cross-functional teams working across different geographic time-zones
  • Experience working in fast-paced Agile development environments; demonstrated strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills

Pre-Sales Engineer

Our pre-sales engineers are responsible for collaborating across our customer success, product, engineering, and marketing departments in direct support of our sales team who are focused on targeting and closing new business and expanding existing business. Successful pre-sales engineers at Plan Intelligently are strategic thinking, self-motivated, world-class professionals ready to roll up their sleeves and execute the plan.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions that address functional, technical, and integration requirements
  • Present solutions remotely, and on-site, to key stakeholders
  • Provide industry thought leadership to prospective customers
  • Clearly articulate complex data flow and data transformation processes
  • Work collaboratively across multiple departments: with Customer Success to document and scope implementation services, with Product and Engineering teams to influence and drive the product roadmap, with Marketing to be the face of the messaging and to provide industry feedback

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role with SaaS solutions in a B2B environment
  • Highly dependable, team player with high energy, positive attitude and with great organization and time management skills
  • Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally
  • Familiarity and experience with the technical aspects of a sales cycle
  • Ability and willingness for 10-15% travel
  • BS, BA degree or equivalent is required
